Our clan was created on 20th of August 2006 by current clan owner Rustallion. At first conception, it went by the name "Alpha Wolves" and used the clan tag [A=Wolf].

The Alpha Wolves were traditionally a Counter-Strike Source (PC) clan only, and grew to be quite large. At its peak, there were around 80 consistent members with nearly 50 daily active members. Of the hundreds of clans which were strictly CS:S in this time period, Alpha Wolves held a perfect scrim match record against all other challenging clans. The members of the team silently vowed that it took great players, friendship, maturity, and dedication that made them float as high as they did. This lasted for a a couple years, but its lack of structure doomed that it couldn't be forever before the clan took a turn for the worse. It went inactive for about half a year back in 2008, but in late 2009-early 2010 the switch was flipped back to life thanks to the help of the old friends of the clan still being dedicated to the clan even after it had no home for several months. In this comeback it was decided to add more games and opened up a new division for Xbox 360 to our clan demolishing the vision of a Counter-Strike Source only clan for the better. The sails were set to turning a clan of the finest into a community of gamers that followed the old creed. These changes have actually strengthened the clan as a whole and increased the pride in our members.
There was one new glaring problem with The Alpha Wolves: the appeal. There was a hands-down decision that as a clan the Alpha Wolves only inducted the members of its choosing, but now as a community, members had to come to us. It was high time to change the theme and even the name of the clan. So in early August 2010, a poll was held for a whole new scheme. After only two weeks, it was swiftly decided and changed unanimously to the suggested "The United Damned".
Members of the Damned who were once Wolves: Rustallion, Battlemech7, Mysterypea, A_Kennedy, Deusion(formally Behemoth).

The rebirth of the clan came with a redesigned website, new ranks, and a flood of members. The new appeal just plain worked. Only two months later, the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops and stretching out a PS3 division put all the new to the test. Hundreds of accounts were being made by the month, and the new year passed by solidly. However, over the new year turmoil founded itself inside the clan due to lack of leadership and the trusting of who turned out to be the wrong people with power. There was a lot of chaos that came and went ultimately closing down the short lived PS3 division. Due to the damages, there was a month of downtime while currently existing members suggested ideas to the new way things were run. A month later, new staff, new rules, and a new style all came to light. To increase dedication to the clan so that it wasn't so prone to mutiny, acceptance into the clan became very much harder. By this time, the clan had successfully stabilized itself.
After a long first half of the year, The United Damned has been made strong by its members. With the launch of 3.0, the journey only continues. Want to be a part of our history? Join us and become a member of The United Damned's community! |
Our Mission:
Our mission is to create a great respectful clan with mature, dedicated members that know the meaning of teamwork and fun, and to create a club anyone of maturity can come and go whenever they please. |
Who we are:
We are both a strong group of mature, hardcore gamers that are proud to be in The United Damned as we make it this admirable clan, and a community that is welcoming to the average gamer. |
What we do:
What we do is play for fun and hold private events sometimes on our personal servers. We frequently hold open events, which only require you are a club member(have an account), but we also have closed events for people who are in the clan. As a community, friendship is what is important, and, between our chatroom, forum, XBox Live, Steam, and our personal Ventrilo server, we offer many styles of communication. We also have returned to having scrim teams for both our finest players and room for secondary teams who just want to scrim. |
Clan Creed:
Maturity, respect, skill, devotion, honor, chivalry. The United Damned is together to Hell, but it will be a long time before we get there. Practice and win. Play hard, but tend to your real life first. |
